Kim Willems
Biography
Kim Willems is Associate Professor in Marketing at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium. After obtaining her degree as business engineer at Hasselt University, she conducted a joint PhD on Retail Differentiation Strategies in collaboration with UHasselt and VUB. In 2012, she started as tenure-track professor of marketing at VUB. In 2017, she became associate professor to the VUB. Her research expertise pertains to retail marketing and consumer behaviour, with a special interest in store atmospherics and the digital transformation in retailing and services. She teaches both bachelor- and master-level courses in marketing, to an audience of national and international students, fulltime day-time students and working students. She is also voluntary scientific co-worker at UHasselt and guest professor at IESEG Lille, France.
